How to Use

  1. Install the App: Download and install the version for your operating system.
  2. Use the SD card of your SamplePad 4: Start with a new SD card, or you can work with an existing one.
  3. Prepare your Samples before launching app
    • Samples should be in wav format and put in the root of your SD card
    • Use the tool provided by Alesis to convert your sample in wav. On OSX version of this tool, you will be able to import them direcly from the app.
    • Names should be 8 characters long with no special characers
  4. Select your working directory
    • Click on the Select Directory button when launching app
    • You should select the SD card on your computer
    • But you are free to work in any directory if you want
    • If no kit file is found, a new one will be created
  5. Prepare your kit
    • Activate the sample by clicking on Activation checkboxes
    • Select the samples, they will be automatically listed from your working directory
    • Adjust the parameters
    • Don't forget to Save before editing another kit
  6. Create new kits As on your Samplepad4, you can duplicate a kit in order to create a new one
